For those who are adventurous or nature lovers, they may prefer dating in the woods, like renting a log cabin for Valentine's Day to be their perfect location. Wherever it is, make sure it is a place both of you would enjoy being in. Check the Internet or find out from friends what places they could recommend. You can also ask your partner for his input if the date will not be a surprise.

Reservations. Make sure to make arrangements ahead of time. Restaurants, 5-star hotels, log cabins or yachts are just a few places for a romantic Valentine's date. Popular places to eat may have limited available tables so getting the confirmation weeks, sometimes months, in advanced is the best way to ensure you have a place. Do not just walk in and expect to get a table on Valentine's Day. You will just ruin that night if you cannot have a table until hours later.

:Add Ambiance. A romantic date should exude an ambiance of love. No matter how perfect the location seem to be, without the ambiance, it is like eating bland or half-cooked meat. Add candles and flowers. If you are in a restaurant, you can request the host or hostess to add these items on the table setting. Have music playing if a budget is not an issue. You can even hire musicians to play love songs to serenade as you enjoy dinner or time together.
Step4:

Gift. A Valentine's date is not complete without a gift. Buying your partner that perfect gift to go with the perfect Valentine's date is like an icing on a cake. Guys, don't forget to buy roses and a card to go with your gift. Gals, buy a gift to reciprocate.

Budget. Make sure you have the money to spend if you want to make that Valentine's date perfect. If you are using a credit card, make sure you have enough money available.
